Hi, I am a Ph.D. student in Financial Economics at University of New Orleans. I came to University of New Orleans in Fall 1996 to pursue Ph.D. in Financial Economics. Currently I am working hard to finish my dissertation as soon as possible. (So I am a little too busy to update my web page). You can see my vitae here. I came from Dhaka, Bangladesh. I grew up in Shantinagar area. My first school was Little Jewels Nursery and Primary School, Purana Paltan, Dhaka. I attended there from 1973 to 1977. I passed the Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) examination in Science from Ideal High School, Dhaka in 1984. I passed Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) examination in Science from Notredame College, Dhaka in 1986. Then I went to University of Dhaka to study Economics. I finished B.S.S. (Honors) in Economics in 1991 and M.S.S. in Economics in 1993.



In June 1995, I joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka. I was also a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh from April, 1994 to June 1995. I worked at Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies(BIDS) from September, 1993 to March, 1994 as a Research Assistant.
